Recorded live in 1998 at Fat Sams Diner, Edinburgh.

This CD sees the bands repertoire move from the 1940’s to the 1950’s – with numbers like It Should Have Been Me (Ray Charles) & Reete Petite (Jackie Wilson). Also featured are songs from the repertoire of Joe Liggins and the Honeydrippers – (Pink Champagne), Wynonie Harris – (Mr Blues Is Coming To Town & Sittin’ On It All The Time) and Calvin Boze – (Safronia B). The Atomic Mr. Basie’s ‘Splanky’ & ‘Flight of the Foo Birds’ also feature. Check out the flute solo by John Burgess in ‘Theme from Peter Gunn’ and his awesome rendition on Tenor sax of ‘What’s New’.
